I read your review, and I feel that you do understand that sometimes like an old boyfriend somethings are best left as good memories in the past. I do want to say that the series was a cultural mile stone in our new century, and it will be a cult classic. I Myself, being an avid watcher, will say that we were left hanging. You being a straight man see this as silly fluff to fill two hours. That being said, women will spend years planning weddings and never get tired of details. The movie is like this. It is closing the chapter for us. NOT for the men, but the large following of women who see ourselves in ALL of these woman. It is a girl thing and you are in the boys club.

Yes, it may not be an Oscar winner, but it is our movie. So for

you to slam it on the front page of the New York Times [sic] is going to hurt the fans. We know you will never understand. I am sorry but I

will drag my husband to see this, and he will think the same as you

do. But did any of us women go and slam Rambo when the men dragged us

to that movie. No! You ask why we did not. Well, it is because women

will never understand what memories you boys had playing in the woods

with your Rambo knifes.

I do respect the job you do, and your review was not all bad. You

did like parts of the movie. Now think about all the women who got

courage, got better fashion scene, and learned to f— our men better

because of this movement. All and all you should be thankful that this series brought many men pleasure because of the imprecation it left on us women. You boys had your Rambo knifes and now us girls have our Stilettos! Now we can play in the new jungle called dating, marriage, kids, friends and lovers. This is our Rambo. So you did not like it and I respect that. I just feel your job makes you jaded and you do not understand you have the coolest job in the world, you get paid to watch movies and you have your Rambo knife too! Did you half to use the knife to kill our little girl club?

For two hours you saw what women really care about. We just want to be able to escape from our life’s and this is our outlet. I am a

custom street bike rider. I have VERY flashy motorcycles, witch puts

me in the boy club. But, I would never disrespect the boys club. I

feel you could have just said, “Hey it is a chick flick! But it will

make a shit load of money.” Why will it make record amounts because

women hold the “Pleasure Source” so we control the MONEY!

Have your Rambo and your knife, I will take designers and

cosmopolitans any day! Women make the world go around and even though

I DO appreciate what you do I felt maybe you should remember why you

got into this job to being with. Because you loved something, movies.

Please can we just love our girly movie?

Am very disappointed by -your- movie review! As a highly anticipated fan myself, I’m waiting until Thursday night (midnight) to get in my sneak preview. Yes, you may seem like it’s the cliché thing to do; a young woman in her mid 20’s in NYC about to do what billions of other women [and men] will be doing around the globe.

But, there must be something to it! It became revolutionary hit to both sexes. We keep coming back for more!

I just read your column on “Sex And The City.” I can’t for the life of me see too much beauty in anyone of them.I remember when Cynthia Nixon said she was Gay. Kim Cattrall got a little heavier. Kristin Davis(Where is the sex).Last but not least, Sarah Jessica Parker has got to be the luckiest woman in the world. This woman looks like she

could play the wicked witch from “The Wizard of Oz”.C’mon Lou just look at that nose. Ask some of the people who remember Margaret Hamilton. I am not a young guy Lou.Just take a good look at S J Parker

without an air brushed picture she is Just “PLAIN JANE.” I know you can’t print any of this but as an avid reader of yours I had too write to you.

Wait a minute, Lou! How about filth, rats, grime, air pollution, the disgusting subways, smelly, homeless beggars and crime?!? Don’t sell New Yorkers short!
