Woody Allen’s first New York-set film in six years, “Whatever Works,” has been acquired for U.S. release by Sony Pictures Classics, which plans to put it out sometime this summer. Larry David, who had a small part many years ago in “Radio Days,” stars opposite Evan Rachel Wood in this May-November romance, along with Patricia Clarkson and Ed Begley Jr..
