I spent a good part of the weekend at Film Forum. On Saturday I took in “Double Take,” a witty homage to Alfred Hitchcock. On Sunday, I saw the restored, 50th-anniversary print of Godard’s “Breathless.” I have seen the film a zillion times, but on Sunday it seemed fresh and new. Tears came to my eyes watching Jean Seberg’s Patricia hawking the New York Herald Tribune on the Champs-Elysees — my favorite scene in my favorite movie of all time. In fact, I’m going to try to see “Breathless” one more time this week.
