We’ve pretty much given up reviewing movie that open on Friday without advance critics screenings here at the Post — everybody knows they’re going to stink. The Japanese horror film remake “The Eye,” with Jessica Alba got 27 percent positive reviews at Rotten Tomatoes and “Savage Wilderness” scored a perfectly rotten 0 percent positive at RT. Here’s a review of “The Eye” that my esteemed colleague Frank Scheck wrote for the Hollywood Reporter, and one for “Savage Wilderness,” which the venerable Joe Leydon of Variety found laughless despite the presence of Steve Zahn, Jonah Hill, Justin Long and Jeff Garlin.
