But the full-frame Paramount animated logo with the snowcapped mountain that formerly opened “Zero Hour!” (pictured is a Technicolor version from a VistaVision epic of same era) is conspicuously absent from Warners’ DVD release, though a tiny version of the stationary logo appears with the copyright notice in the credits. It’s a mystery, considering that Warners and Paramount have been working closely together lately, coordinating their DVD releases of John Wayne movies just last month.
