The Online Film Critics Society Monday released its list of the 100 best feature-film debuts. And the winner is — you guessed it — Orson Welles’ “Citizen Kane” (1941),  followed by David Lynch’s “Eraserhead”  (1977) and George A. Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead”  (1968).

Rounding out the top 10 are John Huston’s “The Maltese Falcon” (1941), Jean-Luc Godard’s  “Breathless” (1960),  Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs” (1992), Charles Laughton’s “The Night of the Hunter” (1955, the only film Laughton ever helmed),   the Coen brothers’ “Blood Simple” (1984), Francois Truffaut’s  “The 400 Blows” (1959) and Sidney Lumet’s “12 Angry Men” (1957). The complete list can be found at  ofcs.org.
