“Land of the Lost”

Sure, most of us would watch Will Ferrell spend two hours reciting a list of made-up words — which he could probably do — but buzz on this remake of a ’70s TV show is not great.

Verdict: “The Hangover” wins.

“Bruno”

Will Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to “Borat” prove to be as shocking and water-cooler-conversation-worthy as its predecessor? Hard to say. But the trailer looks astonishing.

Verdict: Too close to call.

“Funny People”

Judd Apatow wrote and directed this one, and early word is that it’s both hilarious and touching — even if it’s running time is currently two and a half hours.

Verdict: Too early to tell, but a strong contender to dethrone “The Hangover.”
