I think “The Hangover” is pretty overrated — it works, but it’s hardly one of the funniest movies of the last decade, despite its record-shattering grosses. As the sequel gets ready for a release next summer, there’s a new 2-disc DVD and Blu-Ray coming Oct. 12 billed as “the extreme edition” that adds a 28-page booklet of funny photos from the closing sequence of snapshots of compromising positions. Amazon is offering it for $25. The whole package is “timed for holiday gift giving,” although I think my mom will pass, thanks.
