While Leonardo DiCaprio has to wait until Feb. 28 to find out whether he’ll take home an Oscar for his grueling performance in “The Revenant,” the movie is already a winner at the box office.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, six weeks after its release, the Fox film directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu surpassed $300 million in worldwide ticket sales.
The box office has been boosted by the movie’s haul at the Golden Globes as well as the big Oscar buzz for Leo.
