“Looks like I just ruined the 100% RT rating for GET LOW,” tweeted a very young reviewer with a swollen ego and a major web platform yesterday. “So it was written, so it is done.” Look, this guy has every right to pan a movie that I love and gave 3.5 stars to in today’s paper. He may even make some good points in his review. 

But isn’t gloating about it kind of, well, immature? I’m not going to mention this guy’s name — I don’t want to encourage him any more than I want to enable his senior counterpart Mr. Blight. But my pal Glenn Kenny unloads on this tool (who, Glenn once pointed out, preemptively denied being one) in one of Glenn’s periodic laments about the younger generation of critics (which was posted before the offending tweet). More than one commenter suggests that Glenn not waste his time since even younger readers aren’t taking “Get Low” hater seriously, anyway.
