I have an op-ed in today’s Post in which I write about how the Matt Damon flick “Green Zone” rewrites the most basic facts of the Iraq War to suit an obvious left-wing agenda. Is “Green Zone” also a bad movie? I think so. It’s stuffed with unbelievable action-hero situations attached awkwardly to a war we’ve all learned much about on TV and in documentaries — a war we know is much more complicated than a film that supposes that if a Jason Bourne-like figure locates a single general, he can stop the insurgency from happening. It’s “The Green Berets” for liberals. But my colleague Lou Lumenick will be reviewing “Green Zone” for the Post.
