Anyone who spends time near Rockefeller Center — that’s where The Post’s offices are — has seen the crowds of female young ‘uns with their “American Girl” shopping bags. Heck, I even bought a couple of these pricey, historically-themed dolls for Xan back in the day. Clearview Cinemas is clearly hoping the shopping bag toters and their moms will be coming in droves to “Kitt Kittredge,” which will begin a 12-day exclusive run on June 20 at Clearview’s flagship location, the Ziegfeld. This period adventure starring Abigail Bresklin seems a bit small in scope for the cavernous and notoriously hard-to-fill Ziegfeld — by far the city’s largest single-screen venue with 1,131 streets — which in recent years has specialized in big animated features, musicals and adventures like current tenant “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
