You say you didn’t quite understand “Mulholland Dr.” the first time you saw it.

Now, courtesy of the American Museum of the Moving Image, you have a second chance to unravel the mystery of David Lynch’s bizarre take on the Hollywood dream factory, featuring Laura Elena Harring, Naomi Watts and screen legend Ann Miller.

Even if Lynch’s surreal twists and turns continue to prove elusive, you’ll savor every minute spent trying to sort things out.

“Mulholland Dr.” unreels tomorrow at 4 p.m. as part of the museum’s series of L.A.-based movies, which this weekend also includes Nicholas Ray’s “In a Lonely Place,” with Humphrey Bogart; and Peter Bogdanovich’s little-seen “Targets,” with Boris Karloff as an aging star of horror movies caught up in a killer’s rampage.
