A family of superstars.
Beyoncé kicked off her “Cowboy Carter Tour” at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., Monday night with surprise appearances by her daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi Carter, 7.
Blue joined her famous mom, 43, onstage throughout the nearly three-hour show, after having been a backup dancer on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in 2023.

In a social media clip, Rumi held Beyoncé’s hand as she waved to the crowd with a big smile on her face. Rumi then gave her mom a big hug as Blue Ivy stood behind the pair onstage.

John Angelillo/UPI/ShutterstockThe show featured a star-spangled banner acapella performance with Jimi Hendrix’s guitar solo, multiple moments flying through the audience on a horseshoe and car, a color-changing LED dress during her performance to “Daughter,” and more.
Near the end of the night, Beyoncé said on stage, “I have the best fans in the world. I love you so much. We worked so hard to make this as perfect as we could for y’all. I hope y’all had fun.”

Blue Ivy, Beyonce on the Renaissance World Tour. WireImage for ParkwoodBeyoncé has four more shows at SoFi Stadium through May 9. She’ll visit more cities including Chicago, London, Atlanta and her native Houston, before wrapping the tour in Las Vegas on July 26.
The “Halo” singer announced her tour dates after her first-ever Album of the Year win at the 2025 Grammys in February.

“I just feel very full and very honored,” she added.

Blue Ivy was a backup dancer for the songs “My Power” and “Black Parade” on the Renaissance Tour.
“She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” Bey said in her concert documentary “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.” She later changed her mind and gave Blue Ivy a permanent position on the stage.
The teenager also performed with Beyoncé at her 2024 Christmas Day NFL halftime performance.
