On Monday night in Miami, Coldplay surprised the crowd at Hard Rock Stadium with “Houston #1,” a specially composed song that honored the victims of Tropical Storm Harvey.

The British band, which postponed a show in the flooded Texas city last Friday, used an acoustic interlude to play the country track.

“We all grew up loving country music, and that’s kind of what we think of when we go to Texas,” singer Chris Martin told the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium.

“We’ll never play this again,” he added.

The wistful ballad nodded to Corpus Christi, Harris County and Galveston (made famous by the late Glen Campbell in the song of the same name).

“I know nothing’s gonna break the will of Houston,” Martin sang, concluding, “Houston, you got to keep on keepin’ on.”
