It was never likely to be a laugh-a-minute but on Coldplay’s new album “Ghost Stories,” singer and main songwriter Chris Martin sounds all too conscious of his uncoupling from Gwyneth Paltrow.

The band’s sixth collection is now streaming on iTunes ahead of its official release on May 19 and almost every one of the nine tracks features Martin alluding to love but more specifically, love that has been lost.
