A Nigerian concert promoter is suing Jay Z and his management company for allegedly canceling a Rihanna concert and then refusing to repay a $160,000 deposit.

Chris Ubosi says he worked with Roc Nation execs in 2012 to schedule RiRi’s appearance in Lagos in May 2013.

Rihanna’s reps agreed to a single, 65-minute performance on May 12, 2013, and Ubosi forwarded Roc Nation $160,000 to secure the date, according to the Manhattan civil suit.

But the month she was due to arrive, Rihanna’s reps said they would have to reschedule.

A Roc Nation rep said no one was available to comment.
