Country singer Jon Pardi has made some big lifestyle changes.

During a recent appearance on Amazon Music’s “Country Heat Weeklypodcast, the “Head Over Boots” singer, 38, revealed to hosts Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson that he’s cut out alcohol.

“I’ve been 112 days sober,” he said. “I’ve lost a bunch of weight.”

“I was pre-diabetic, and I was just like, ‘I gotta stop.’ I was really getting to the point where every picture, every video, I was so unhappy with myself,” he went on. “And where I was going, I needed to just take a break.”

Pardi, who tied the knot with hairstylist Summer Pardi in 2020 and welcomed a daughter this year, said his weight loss has left him feeling more confident.

“I just did a photo shoot and I was like … ‘Damn, I look good.’ Take that, Tito’s!” he said. “But for anybody that’s thinking about it, if they want to lose weight and you do drink, let me tell you, it does help tremendously if you stop.”

On Christmas Day, he showed off his slimmer frame via Instagram. “Merry Christmas from the Pardi’s!” he captioned a photo of his family of three.

Although he quit alcohol, he still has some of his vices, he said.

“I love me some ice cream. I’m like, ‘Well, I’m not drinking. I better get this Twix candy ice cream.’ Coffee ice cream. So good.”

However, the musician isn’t quite sure yet if his current sober lifestyle will remain permanent.

“I’m retired, OK? Doesn’t mean I can’t come out of retirement,” he said. “But for right now, it’s been great.”
