While the Kennedy Center’s doors are closed to music lovers, the Center has kept the show going with digital performances by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and the Washington National Opera.

The videos are produced by the NSO musicians themselves at home while social distancing during coronavirus lockdown.

This particular performance, released on Tuesday (May 12), was produced by Principal Trumpet William Gerlach in collaboration with members of the NSO performing the fourth movement from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
