A far cry from the glitz and high production values of most of Rihanna’s past outings, the Barbadian singer’s newest music video sees the star singing in a simple black and white studio setting.

Along for the ride on the new single “FourFiveSeconds” are pals Kanye West, who shares lead vocals, and Paul McCartney, who plays guitar.

Mirroring the song’s stripped-down acoustic nature, the unadorned imagery of the three musicians emoting and dancing in denim was directed by renowned photographers Inez and Vinoodh.

“FourFiveSeconds,” a major departure from Rihanna’s typically synth-heavy beats, debuted last week at No. 54 on the Hot 100 and should jump quite a bit higher this week. Meanwhile, McCartney and West’s own collaboration sans Rihanna, “Only One,” peaked earlier this year at No. 35 on the same list.
