Listen, do you want to know a secret?

Simon Cowell’s “The Fifth Beatle” film project is picking up steam. The project’s executive producers, who include IM Global’s David Schulhof, just acquired music rights from publisher Sony/ATV.

Schulof tells On the Money that the project will include a soundtrack sung by the actors who are chosen to star in the project.

“The Fifth Beatle” is based on a book by producer-writer Vivek Tiwary about Brian Epstein — The Beatles’ manager who was Jewish and gay and died at age 32.

Epstein guided The Beatles from the grungy Cavern Club in Liverpool onto the world stage. The producers are still searching for a director.
