This boy’s performance to Michael Jackson’s hit “Billie Jean” at a school talent show has got the internet talking.

But is he better than the King of Pop?

Brett Nichols danced to the late Michael Jackson’s song in the gym at Pitman High School, where he is a junior.

He had entered the school’s annual Talent Rally and his performance captivated fellow students and teachers as he moonwalked and strutted the way Jackson used to on stage.

The video already has more than 2.4m views on YouTube.

After Pitman High School shared the video on Facebook, musician Jaydeep Bhatia, a Pitman graduate, saw the video and decided to share it on Reddit.

“I just knew it belonged on reddit, so I posted and the rest is history,” Bhatia said.

MTV even described the performance to be better than the King of Pop’s hologram at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
