Keeping track of Mariah Carey’s life and career is practically a full-time job, but the past 12 months have been especially bizarre. Only recently, the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer had to cancel several Christmas shows due to health woes.

Ahead of her abbreviated stop at the Beacon Theatre (on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday), here’s a brief recap of Carey’s crazy year.

January

Carey’s 2017 is off to a terrible start with a disastrous New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance in Times Square. She blames a faulty earpiece for not being able to sing along with her hits, and the fallout lasts for weeks.

February

Her latest musical relaunch is a timid attempt at trap music called “I Don’t” featuring rapper YG. The single duly flops.

September

The E! reality series “Mariah’s World” is canceled after just one season. The finale pulls just half a million viewers.

October

Carey’s ex, billionaire businessman James Packer refers to their short relationship and engagement in 2016 as a “mistake.” Ouch.

November

After a tumultuous three years, Carey severs ties with manager Stella Bulochnikov, but signs with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation instead. Could this be Mimi’s real emancipation?
