In anticipation of the Ready Set’s release of his debut album, “I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming,” Jordan Witzigreuter has kindly agreed to share the backstory of his favorite song off the album.

About “There are Days” (which you can check out below), Jordan says that it’s “lyrically one of my favorite songs I’ve written – it’s got a pretty inspirational feeling to it. It’s about appreciating everything you have and not taking advantage of anything in life.”

The song itself, is “written from the perspective of a ghost watching the world pass by, unable to be a part of it. The ultimate concept behind it is that one day you will not be around, so living life to the fullest is absolutely important.”

Who says 20 year olds don’t have any worthwhile life advice to share?
