Valerie Bertinelli has a very good reason to brag about her son.

The actress had nothing but praise for Wolf Van Halen, 31, after his rock-star performance during a concert tribute to Taylor Hawkins at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The 61-year-old responded on Twitter to a video of her son performing his late father’s famous tracks: Van Halen’s “On Fire” and “Hot for Teacher” during the concert writing, “WOLFIE KILLED IT.”

“So proud of you @WolfVanHalen 🤍,” she added in the sweet post.

Wolf — who played with Dave Grohl, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness and drummer Josh Freese — also shared photos with the musicians in a tweet after the concert.

“Took some sweaty post jam selfies with my boys Dave, Justin, and Josh after getting off stage at the #TaylorHawkinstribute,” he tweeted. “Honored to play with such wonderfully talented musicians to pay tribute to Taylor and Pop.”

Wolf’s father, legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen died in 2020 at 65 after a battle with cancer.

Taylor Hawkins died in Bogota, Colombia, on March 25 due to a cardiovascular collapse at the age of 50. He left behind his wife Alison Hawkins and three children — Oliver Shane Hawkins, 16, Annabelle Hawkins, 13, and Everleigh Hawkins, 8.

Wolf wasn’t the only one flexing some musical genes. Oliver showed the world the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree after playing drums in “My Hero” at the “Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert” in honor of his late father, with images of them playing in the background.
