It’s going to be a very, very long week for Beyoncé fans.

The superstar is teasing the arrival of “Lemonade,” which is due to premiere this Saturday at 9 p.m. on HBO. The only clues to what it actually is lie within this mysterious, minute-long trailer which features a corn-rowed Bey slowly raising her head, interspersed with new footage of her performing.

But what could it all mean? Here are four of possible explanations.

A new single and video?

The most likely scenario is that “Lemonade” turns out to be a new video and single. Back in February, the excitement and controversy surrounding the video for “Formation” managed to reduce Super Bowl 50 to a footnote, so this Sunday’s “Game of Thrones” season premiere is already under serious threat.

A new album?

Bey’s sixth album is due at any moment, and given her “Formation” world tour starts on April 27 in Miami, it would make sense for her to bring it out in the days beforehand. So if she ends up dropping the mother lode this Saturday, expect the tumbleweed to be blowing through the clubs and bars of the world.

A new movie?

It’s been seven years since the campy thriller “Obsessed” saw Beyoncé playing the Hollywood game. Maybe she’s been secretly working on her return and “Lemonade” is actually a trailer for a new movie. “The past and the present merge to meet us here,” she whispers during the clip. Let’s just hope she’s not hinting at a return by her “Obsessed” co-star Ali Larter.

A new drink?

The need to decode every move Beyoncé makes is something that unifies her fan base. But maybe this time, “Lemonade” is literal and the 34-year-old is simply expanding her business empire with a refreshing beverage, made with a delicious blend of gluten-free lemons, a smidge of Rihanna’s envy, and of course, the hot sauce in Beyoncé’s handbag.
