NBC has chopped Justin Timberlake’s prime- time concert out of November sweeps.
The pop-star’s special, “Down Home in Memphis,” was supposed to air at 9 p.m. on Nov. 25 – but NBC officials say it was “too intimate” and decided to shift it to a timeslot around Christmas.
Included in the former *NSYNC star’s one-hour special was a personal tour of his hometown, Memphis, Tenn., and highlights of the city’s musical legacy.
He is also expected to perform several of his biggest hits from his solo debut album “Justified,” including “Rock Your Body,” and “Cry Me a River,” as well as “Let’s Stay Together.”
NBC has yet to announce a firm airdate for the special.
Timberlake is dating actress Cameron Diaz.
