Sure, you have to work Monday morning, but you can still play our Academy Award Drinking Game – just do it with draughts of root beer (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).

The game is simple. You and your guests have to drink every time one of the following happens:

* An award winner says the words “blessed,” “humbling” or “my agent.”

* An award winner forgets to thank his or her significant other.

* The orchestra cuts off an acceptance speech.

* Host Billy Crystal makes a Mel Gibson joke.

* A camera cuts to Jack Nicholson.

* “The Lord of the Rings” wins an Oscar.

Clearly, everyone’s going to be pretty loaded by the time this one’s over. Maybe your pals can make some of their own speeches.
