FOX News Channel all-star Bill O’Reilly has inked a big-bucks deal that will keep him on the 24-hour news network through 2007.

The host of the network’s most popular primetime show, “The O’Reilly Factor” will rake in about $24 million over the next six years or about $4 million each year, plus incentives, according to published reports.

In addition to hosting “The Factor,” O’Reilly will appear in a number of specials to air on the Fox Broadcasting Network, appearances on the network’s Sunday public affairs show, “Fox News Sunday,” and has an option to host a new radio show.

FNC is a division of News Corp., which also owns The Post.

FNC declined to comment.

The new deal vaults O’Reilly – a former anchor of “Inside Edition” and author of a No. 1 bestseller – into the elite group of cable TV personalities who command multi-million dollar contracts. According to Forbes, O’Reilly has been making about $1 million a year.

Arch-rival Larry King reportedly takes home about $7 million a year at CNN, while CNBC’s Geraldo Rivera is paid about $5 million, according to published reports.

Ratings for Fox News Channel have more than doubled since early 2000 – and O’Reilly claims an audience of nearly a million viewers a night.

CNN, which recently revamped its primetime lineup to fend off a string of ratings challenges from FNC and MSNBC, is said by insiders to have approached O’Reilly about jumping ship.
