And now for the dark side of reality TV fame.

Police in Grand Haven, Mich, this week arrested a burglar who’d broken into a house that appeared recently on the hit cable show “American Pickers.”

On the show, the owner — who did live in the house but used it to store her antiques and collectibles — was seen selling an antique clock and a large Goodyear Tire advertising sign to the show’s stars.

An alarm tipped off police to the burglary. The thief had set aside several items, including a stamp collection, to take with him before he was caught.
