ABC’s “Primetime” could be morphing into more of an ensemble program with a roster of correspondents.

ABC execs are discussing a plan in which “Primetime,” the Thursday-night news magazine hosted by Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson, would be structured along the lines of “60 Minutes,” according to a report in Broadcasting & Cable magazine.

The lineup – if there is a makeover – would add Chris Cuomo, Cynthia McFadden and John Quinones.

“It may be a cast of equals, but you know who the star will be,” an ABC News insider told B&C.
