After their recent break-up, Jenny Slate and Chris Evans are really putting their acting skills to work as they promote their new movie, “Gifted.”

Slate and Evans ended their 10-month relationship last month — just in time for the premiere of the drama in which they play love interests. They’re currently hyping the movie’s release on April 7 in that awkward post-breakup phase.

The two met during a chemistry read for “Gifted,” and got together after the movie finished filming. Slate, a comedian and actress, was fresh off a divorce and said the stress of dating “Captain America” star Evans got to be too much.

“This is what I needed to do to feel normal,” she told Vulture. “To be alone.”

Unfortunately for Slate, she’ll never really be alone. She’s under the watchful eye of the viewing public, as she and her ex make the rounds publicizing “Gifted.” But the ex-lovers are hardly the first to experience this.
