“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice’s designer home furnishings are being auctioned as part of a bankruptcy case, myFOXny.com reported on Monday.
According to court documents, Giuseppe “Joe” and Teresa Giudice owe $10.85 million to creditors.
A.J. Willner Auctions is running the auction on August 22. The bankruptcy trustee is auctioning off the contents filling the family’s newly-built Towaco, N.J., mansion.
The items are from the $1.7 million home that has been featured on the first two seasons of the show. The couple has filed under Chapter 7 on the bankruptcy code.
Some of the items up for auction include a Schaefer & Sons Grand Piano, several chandeliers, a faux marble chess set and even a snow plow.
Teresa Giudice, 38, best known for flipping a table in the season 1 finale, has said that the bankruptcy is a fresh start for the couple.
