When they reach land, things don’t get better — but they continue to be hilarious. If you love brilliant idiocy and slapstick, this is the one for you.

This time, it’s semi-brilliant idiocy and slapstick silliness in Ben Stiller’s spoof of the New York fashion scene. He plays Zoolander, a really stupid male model who decides that if he can’t be on top, he’ll do good for humanity, but somehow he gets brainwashed into killing the new prime minister of Malaysia. The big-name cast includes Jon Voight and Owen Wilson.
THE PEOPLE VS. LARRY FLYNT (1996)

The rags-to-bitches story of first amendment defendant Larry Flynt (Woody Harrelson), who, with his stripper wife (Courtney Love), started Hustler magazine. Flynt was dragged through the courts, paralyzed by an assassin’s bullet, and finally suffered through his wife’s illness. .

Charlton Heston is Moses, an Egyptian prince who gets tossed out on his royal kiester by pharaoh Yul Brynner. Well, when life hands you cheese, just add ham (as in Heston, Brynner and Anne Baxter). Moses discovers his purpose is to lead the Hebrews out of slavery — and to find a hairdresser for his coiffed mane.
