REGIS Philbin is a grand father – at last.

Philbin’s daughter, Jennifer “J.J.” Philbin, a television writer for the “The O.C.” and “Heroes,” gave birth to a 6-pound, 7-ounce baby boy on Monday morning in LA, the 76-year-old TV host told the audience of his morning TV show yesterday.

The boy was named William Xavier Schur, a tribute to his famous granddad whose full name is Regis Francis Xavier Philbin.

J.J. Philbin is married to fellow television writer Michael Schur of “The Office.”

Philbin, who announced the pregnancy on his show last August, told the audience, “We’re very happy and proud. It will be interesting to see how they name the baby. So far everybody has avoided the name Regis.” –
