Onetime “Celebrity Rehab” cast member Mike Starr died Tuesday.

Starr, the original bassist for Seattle grunge band Alice in Chains, was 44 and had battled drug addiction for years.

He was on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab,” hosted by “Dr. Drew” Pinsky, last year.

Starr, who left Alice in Chains in 1993, is now the second band member to die.

Lead singer Layne Staley overdosed in 2002 at the age of 34.
