LOS ANGELES — Movie vampire Robert Pattinson stunned a homeless street performer in Los Angeles by buying him a new guitar, The Sun reported Thursday.

The warm-hearted “Twilight” star spotted the down-and-out musician’s tatty acoustic as he put money in a collection box.

Minutes later, the 25-year-old British actor, who plays cold-blooded Edward Cullen, emerged from a music store with an electric guitar for himself and a red acoustic for the man.

Pattinson’s generosity was witnessed by vacationers Luke Jones, 24, and his 22-year-old girlfriend, Kirsty Rowlands.

“We were gobsmacked when he handed the acoustic guitar to the tramp. Robert quickly went back to his car and drove off,” the Welshman said. “The [man] was totally shell-shocked. He had no idea who Robert was — I think he thought the guitar was stolen.”
