The premier all-star jam-band concert in the U.S. – the Jammys – returns to New York for it’s fifth anniversary Tuesday. Part concert, part awards show, it honors musicians who make live, improvisational music – you know, jam. Unique because the producers take two musicians with divergent styles and allow them to make sweet music together, this year’s most-anticipated pairing is Sinead O’Connor (above) with reggae icon Burning Spear. Also on the bill are Ryan Adams, Bruce Hornsby and the North Mississippi All-Stars, as well as unannounced surprise guests like Warren Haynes. Dead bassman Phil Lesh is this year’s host. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets are $40-$80. Theater at Madison Square Garden, Seventh Avenue at 32nd Street; (212) 465-6741.
