Prince William might have made a royal blunder.

At the French state dinner on Tuesday, the Prince of Wales, 43, got caught in an awkward moment during a standing ovation for French President Emmanuel Macron.

A clip of William has surfaced, per Daily Mail, in which he is clapping alongside Emmanuel and First Lady Brigitte Macron.

The Prince sits down prematurely as the other attendees are still standing. The royal member then looks side-to-side to see if anyone else has taken a seat. 

But, per the footage shared on the Royal Family’s YouTube channel, William wasn’t the only one to head back to his chair.

William took a seat after his father, King Charles, did so. The Princess of Wales, however, remained standing along with the other guests.

Out with the old, in with the new.

King Charles has made the decision to scrap a strict, century-old dress code at Buckingham Palace in a major shake-up toward modernizing the monarchy.

The monarch, 76, has axed the traditional all-white attire that governed the palace’s private tennis court since 1919, the Times of London reports.

Previously, only those wearing white were allowed to partake in a match on the exclusive court — similar to the long-standing tradition that is still upheld at the annual Wimbledon Championships.

In an effort to create more of a relaxed atmosphere at the palace, Charles has now axed the strict rule, saying while it’s “preferable” for players to follow it, it’s no longer “essential.”

The all-white rule, which was introduced at Wimbledon in 1877, was established to minimize the appearance of sweat stains.

Prince Harry and King Charles may well be reuniting soon — as both royals received invitations to the 2027 Invictus Games.

It was revealed last month that the Duke of Sussex, 40, was gearing up to extend an invitation to his estranged father to the ceremony, which is slated to take place in Birmingham in July that year.

Helen Helliwell, the CEO of the 2027 event, has expressed hope that both Harry and the monarch, 76, will be in attendance, though teased it’s “too soon to confirm who’s going to be there.”

“We would be delighted if the duke were able to come,” she told People.

“He really brings a magical sparkle dust to his interactions, and there is a really special relationship with him and the community.”

Helliwell noted that members of the royal family have been ardent “supporters of the Armed Forces,” and have been advocates of the Invictus Games “since inception in 2014.”

“We’d be delighted if members of the royal family were able to attend and would very much welcome their presence in a couple of years’ time,” she added.

King Charles III rolled up his sleeves as he helped clean-up efforts along the coastline in Deal, Kent on Thursday.

His Majesty wore a tan suit and sunglasses as he walked along the beach collecting trash with volunteers from the environmental group Deal With It.

The royal met crews from the Walmer RNLI shop team and watched them do a demonstration of their lifeboat.

Thursday marked his first official visit to an RNLI station since he was announced as Patron of the charity in May 2024.

King Charles III planted a tree in the Queen Mother’s Garden at Walmer Castle on Thursday.

The castle, located in the coastal county of Kent, used to be home to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother when she served as Lord Warden from 1978 to 2002.

The property is used as the home for the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, which is a position currently held by Admiral the Lord Zambellas.

During the royal’s tour, he observed how restorations were being made to preserve the castle and he met with senior representatives from the Confederation of the Cinque Ports.

Queen Camilla paid a sweet visit to volunteers and beneficiaries of the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation in Calne, England.

The royal met with representatives of local groups who support the foundation, including Growbaby that supplies baby clothes and equipment to families in need and All Yours Period Box that is aimed at ending period poverty.

Camilla cut a piece of cake for the 50th anniversary of the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation.

Using a sleek knife to slice into the floral dessert, the queen was all smiles in a green dress and sunglasses.

Camilla was also present for the official opening of a new Jamie’s Farm site, part of a youth farming initiative that provides residential stays on farms to help young people struggling with mental health in school reconnect with nature.

Royals can be sports fans too!

William, Prince of Wales, attended the UEFA Women's Euro 2025, group D, soccer match between England and the Netherlands at Stadion Letzigrund in Switzerland Wednesday.

The Lionesses won handily, trouncing the Dutch team 4-0.

"What a set of goals! Well played," the royal wrote on social media.

The team will play against Wales this weekend.
