BRITISH movie actor Rufus Sewell is jumping to TV in a series from the “CSI” people next fall.

The series is based on a British miniseries, “Eleventh Hour,” which starred Patrick Stewart as a government scientist who investigates scientific crimes and conspiracies.

The show is described as a combination between “Prime Suspect” and “The X-Files.”

Sewell, who starred in “The Illusionist” and “The Legend of Zorro,” will play the lead role in the projected CBS series.
