IN case you missed “Sex” the first time around, it’s coming back.
We’re talking, of course, about “The Joys of Sex: A Naughty New Musical,” which starts previews on April 9 before its May 12 opening at off-Broadway’s Variety Arts Theatre.
The cheery romp – short on actual nudity, but long on double-entendres and verbal titillation – sold out quickly at the 2002 New York International Fringe Festival, where it won both the Audience Favorite Award and kudos for its director, Jeremy Dobrish.
Described by one critic as ” ‘Sex and the City’ set to music,” it features such songs as a ballad to infertility called “Inconceivable” and an ode to commitment, “Should I? Shouldn’t I?”
