The son also rises

Tyler X. Chang, the baby son of Ch. 2’s Ti-Hua Chang, was chosen recently as the national storefront model for Baby Gap and Kid Gap stores – including the store in Times Square. Dad Ti-Hua also corralled an Edward R. Murrow Award and AAJA Civil Rights Award for his Ch. 2 reporting.

Over at Ch. 7, Lori Stokes will emcee the Food Allergy Initiative’s spring lunch, Tuesday at Cipriani, while weatherman Sam Champion and Lee Goldberg host “Be a Part of Your Park,” airing tomorrow (7:30 p.m.) as part of the 25th anniversary of the Central Park Conservancy.

And congrats to “Weekend GMA” weathergal Marysol Castro and husband Frank Donaldson on the arrival of Liam Castro Donaldson.

Viola Davis (“Syriana”) guest-stars on “Without a Trace” for a May sweeps episode as the mother of a missing boy being tracked down by Jack Malone (Anthony LaPaglia). Nothing unusual there, except that LaPaglia and Davis

(right) also co-star in “The Architect,” premiering May 2 at the Tribeca Film Festival. In the movie, LaPaglia plays an architect confronted by an activist (Davis) trying to get a housing project razed.
