Mets,Yanks rate big SNY reached a new ratings milestone Wednesday night, averaging over 340,000 households during the Mets thrilling, 13-inning, 1-0 victory over the Diamondbacks. It was also the highest-rated Mets telecast, on a regional sports network, in over four years (Mets-Braves in April ’02).

The Yanks were no slouches either, averaging 376,000 households on YES during their (rain-delayed) 6-1 victory over Detroit, winning the night among men 21-49 and 25-54.

Over on A&E, meanwhile, the season premiere of “Criss Angel Mindfreak” snared 2.3 million viewers – a 34 percent jump over the season one premiere. The show also registered spikes (over last season) in key demos including adults 18-34 and 18-49.

Eden Riegel, who played Bianca on “All My Children,” has just landed the title role of Millie in the Boston production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” which runs July 19-23 at the Robinson Theatre. And Deborah Gibson (“Skating With Celebrities”) opens tonight at the Stamford Arts Center in “Saint Heaven.”

Last, but not least:

* “The Battle for Arab Democracy,” hosted by Brit Hume, airs tomorrow (10 p.m.) on Fox News Channel.

* Tomorrow: Bree Williamson, Madelyn Vega, Jim Bouton expected at the YAI/National Institute for People With Disabilities “Central Park Challenge.” * At ABC News: Jim Sciutto named senior foreign correspondent. And the video podcast of “World News Now” was downloaded 1.4 million times via iTunes and abcnews.com last week.

* Bernie Mac emcees the Jazz at Lincoln Center Spring Gala, Monday at the Apollo.

* A.J. Hammer participates in Thursday’s fundraiser for Birch Family Camp (children/families affected by HIV/AIDS) at Xchange.
