‘AH’: ‘Allo, Vera

“Access Hollywood” producer Rob Silverstein is stoked (he stokes easily, OK?) – he’s corralled noted fashion designer Vera Wang to serve as a special fashion correspondent for “AH’s” Oscars coverage Sunday night.

Wang will be perched beside a high-definition digital fashion camera on Sunday, providing “detailed fashion analysis” on who’s wearing what – and why. The digital fashion camera, by the way, has never been used before on the hallowed red carpet.

“We’re honored to have her,” Silverstein said of Wang. “Vera is the real deal.” “This is the fashion Olympics – where the celebrities of pop culture collide,” says Wang. “Oscars is the biggest runway in the world.”

Last month, I wrote about “Saturday Night Live” stagehand Daniel Wekselblatt’s climb of Mount Washington to raise money to fight Lou Gehrig’s Disease and Breast Cancer. Wekselblatt and Michael Lange were sponsored in their “Climb for a Cure” by IATSE Local One and cast members, crew and guest stars from “SNL” and other shows.

Well, NBC is opening Studio 8H this morning for a check presentation ceremony to representatives from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The ALS Association, Greater New York Chapter for monies raised from that “Climb for a Cure.”

NBC has donated the studio time, with all catering donated by Flik International, NBC’s catering department.

Last, but not least:

* CNN’s Paula Zahn interviews Secretary of State Colin Powell tonight (8 p.m.).

* Jorge Ramos, meet John Walsh: Ch. 47’s “Crimenes Sin Resolver” (“Crime Stoppers”), hosted by Ramos, helped nab a Queens man accused of robbing an Elmhurst supermarket – the fourth area criminal netted after being featured on the show.

* “Power, Money, Politics with Ron Insana” will air on WABC (770 AM) Saturdays starting 3/6 (1-4 p.m.)

* On today’s “Montel” (9 a.m./Ch. 5): Montel Williams revisits his 1992 death- row interview with serial killer Aileen Wuornos (“Monster” with Charlize Theron). * #1 DVD on amazon.com: “Chappelle’s Show – Season One,” released Tuesday.
