BD+>Wheel’ inside look

Several times a year, “Wheel of Fortune” takes to the road, coming to a city near you to tape a bunch of shows with Pat Sajak, Vanna White and all the attendant hoopla.

But if you think it’s a walk in the park to put these shows to gether, think again – and watch “Wheel on Tour,” premiering Sunday 10 p.m.) on The Travel Channel.

“Wheel on Tour” was shot over three months in Phoenix and L.A. “It’s very well-done and I’m very pleased,” says “Wheel” executive producer Harry Friedman. “We have a lot of individual stations in markets we visit that produce their own behind-the-scenes remotes with local talent. This is a lot more encompassing in the way it really captures the entire process.”

Last, but not least:

* Pam Anderson signing copies of her novel, “Star,” Noble at Rockefeller Center.

* Regis Philbin and HowardStern chatting for a while outside of their apartment build ing.

* Dave Logan named program director of WCBS- FM.
