It’s not over until Springsteen stops singing!

Bruce Springsteen performed his longest concert in U.S. history Tuesday night at Met Life Stadium — coming in at a record 3 hours, 52 minutes and 1 second.

Notorious for lengthy live performances, Springsteen has only performed for longer once in his forty-plus years as an entertainer. In 2012 he played in Helsinki, Finland for 4 hours and 6 minutes, beating his previous record of 3 hours and forty-eight minutes from a concert in Madrid, Spain also in 2012.

This was Springsteen’s first show in the U.S. after spending two and a half months in Europe, and he opened the homecoming show with his longest song, “New York City Serenade.”

Springsteen will be back in his home state for two more shows this month with concerts planned for the 25th and 30th.
