hood.” The kids are tough – they ‘re fighting for their childhoods in an all-too-real urban landscape – and come from Staten Island,, Chinatown,the Bronx and Brooklyn.As they pursue their aspirations to be performers and artists,as they ride out their scholarships to private schools,the kids discuss some of the depressing facets of modern-day
city life:drugs,violence,pornography,sex and the incessantly popular topic of body image.The film is directed by Diane Paragas and produced by Rita London.
