The new musical “Groundhog Day’’ had its own “Spider-man’’ moment Friday night when its star, Andy Karl, suffered a painful injury during a preview and finished his performance on a crutch.

The accident happened during the second act. The curtain came down and an announcement was made: “Is there a doctor in the house?’’

But the show went on after about 15 minutes.

During the curtain calls, “the cast was crying,’’ a member of the audience told The Post.

“Karl was also crying. He looked like he was in a lot of pain. He was favoring his left leg.’’

Like the 2010 Broadway show about the web-slinging superhero, “Groundhog Day’’ has been plagued by technical problems throughout the previews.

It’s scheduled to open on Monday.
