I know, I know, the Lincoln Center Festival starts tomorrow and you’re going to be really busy and all, especially after reading my picks in today’s paper.

But you may want to scamper downtown for a couple of special shows that, unfortunately, both land on July 9.

The first takes place at the Abrons Arts Center and is the latest installment in TWEED’s Fractured Classicks Series. This time around they tackle William Inge’s “Picnic,” retitled “Pic-Up” for the occasion. And what an occasion: Directed by TWEED regular Kevin Malony, the cast includes Sweetie and Julie Halston, as well as cracked cabaret artist Poor Baby Bree (last seen laying waste to “Don’t Stop Believin'” in “Our Hit Parade” at Joe’s Pub). Tickets are only $20 so get on it!

That is, if you don’t decide to go see Nilaja Sun reprise her hit “No Child …” for one night only at the Soho Playhouse. It’s part of the new Summer Solos Series and tix cost $35 (part of the proceeds go to the Spalding Gray Scholarship Fund).
