“The Year of the Cat” was just extended.
From October 2023 all the way up until April 2024, Al Stewart will tour all over North America with his band The Empty Pockets.
That includes a show at North Tonawanda, NY’s Riviera Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 12.
At all shows expect to hear timeless folk classics like “Time Passages,” “On the Border,” “Nostradamus” “Song On The Radio” and “Roads To Moscow,” as well as deep cuts from his 16-album discography.
For those wondering what Stewart is like these days, Stewart, 78 claims he hasn’t changed much after seven decades in the biz.
“I’m just a folk singer that is interested in history and wine that got lucky with some hit records,” the Scottish-born singer-songwriter told Patch. “In many ways, I’m still pretty much the same troubadour that I was back in 1965.”
And if you want to see Stewart just like he was in his heyday, you can grab tickets to see him live as soon as today.
At the time of publication, prices will run you anywhere from $39 to $157 before fees on Vivid Seats.
